महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-257, verse-8

प्रत्याहृता तथास्माभिर्हत्वा तत्सैन्धवं बलम् ।
तद्दारहरणं प्राप्तमस्माभिरवितर्कितम् ॥८॥
8. pratyāhṛtā tathāsmābhirhatvā tatsaindhavaṁ balam ,
taddāraharaṇaṁ prāptamasmābhiravitarkitam.
8. pratyāhṛtā tathā asmābhiḥ hatvā tat saindhavam
balam tad dāraharaṇam prāptam asmābhiḥ avitarkitam
8. Thus, she was brought back by us after we had killed his Saindhava army. This abduction of his wife was an unexpected consequence for us.
