महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-257, verse-7

तां जहार बलाद्राजा मूढबुद्धिर्जयद्रथः ।
तस्याः संहरणात्प्राप्तः शिरसः केशवापनम् ।
पराजयं च संग्रामे ससहायः समाप्तवान् ॥७॥
7. tāṁ jahāra balādrājā mūḍhabuddhirjayadrathaḥ ,
tasyāḥ saṁharaṇātprāptaḥ śirasaḥ keśavāpanam ,
parājayaṁ ca saṁgrāme sasahāyaḥ samāptavān.

7. King Jayadratha, whose intellect was deluded, forcibly abducted her. Because of her abduction, he suffered the shaving of his head and, along with his allies, experienced defeat in battle.
