महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-39, verse-10

संपूज्यमानाः पुरुषैर्विकुर्वन्ति मनो नृषु ।
अपास्ताश्च तथा राजन्विकुर्वन्ति मनः स्त्रियः ॥१०॥
10. saṁpūjyamānāḥ puruṣairvikurvanti mano nṛṣu ,
apāstāśca tathā rājanvikurvanti manaḥ striyaḥ.

apāstāḥ ca tathā rājan vikurvanti manaḥ striyaḥ
10. striyaḥ sampūjyamānāḥ puruṣaiḥ manaḥ nṛṣu
vikurvanti ca tathā rājan apāstāḥ manaḥ vikurvanti
10. When women are honored by men, they corrupt the minds of men. And similarly, O King, when women are rejected, they also corrupt minds.
