कुलार्णव-तन्त्रम्       kulārṇava-tantram - chapter-16, verse-23

अग्निप्रभां धूम्रवर्णध्वनिगन्धशिखाकृतीः ।
शुभचेष्टादिकं ज्ञात्वा कल्पयेत्तु शुभाशुभम् ॥२३॥
23. agniprabhāṁ dhūmravarṇadhvanigandhaśikhākṛtīḥ ,
śubhaceṣṭādikaṁ jñātvā kalpayettu śubhāśubham.

śubha ceṣṭā ādikam jñātvā kalpayet tu śubhāśubham

23. Having known the luster of the fire, its smoky color, sound, fragrance, and the forms of its flames, as well as auspicious movements and so on, one should indeed discern what is auspicious and inauspicious.
