अनामया ह्यशोकाश्च नरा यत्र तथा स्त्रियः ।
प्लक्षः षण्डश्च तत्रोक्तः सुमहान्नन्दनोपमः ॥२॥

2. anāmayā hyaśokāśca narā yatra tathā striyaḥ .

Indeed, in that place, both men (nara) and women (strī) are free from illness (anāmaya) and sorrow (aśoka). And a very great Plakṣa grove (ṣaṇḍa), comparable to the Nandana garden, is mentioned there.
