वैशंपायन उवाच ।
एवं वदति वाक्यं तु युयुधाने महामतौ ।
सुभीमः सिंहनादोऽभूद्योधानां तत्र सर्वशः ॥८॥

8. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
evaṁ vadati vākyaṁ tu yuyudhāne mahāmatau ,
subhīmaḥ siṁhanādo'bhūdyodhānāṁ tatra sarvaśaḥ.

8. vaiśaṃpāyanaḥ uvāca evam vadati vākyam tu yuyudhāne mahā-matāu
su-bhīmaḥ siṃha-nādaḥ abhūt yodhānām tatra sarvaśaḥ

8. Vaiśaṃpāyana said: As the great-minded Yuyudhāna was speaking thus, a mighty lion's roar (siṃhanāda) erupted from all the warriors present there.
