8. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
evaṁ vadati vākyaṁ tu yuyudhāne mahāmatau ,
subhīmaḥ siṁhanādo'bhūdyodhānāṁ tatra sarvaśaḥ.

Vaiśaṃpāyana said: As the great-minded Yuyudhāna was speaking thus, a mighty lion's roar (siṃhanāda) erupted from all the warriors present there.
