जानामि च त्वां सुरथस्य पुत्रं यं कोटिकाश्येति विदुर्मनुष्याः ।
तस्मादहं शैब्य तथैव तुभ्यमाख्यामि बन्धून्प्रति तन्निबोध ॥४॥

4. jānāmi ca tvāṁ surathasya putraṁ; yaṁ koṭikāśyeti vidurmanuṣyāḥ ,
tasmādahaṁ śaibya tathaiva tubhya;mākhyāmi bandhūnprati tannibodha.

4. jānāmi ca tvām surathasya putram
yam koṭikāśya iti viduḥ manuṣyāḥ |
tasmāt aham śaibya tathā eva tubhyam
ākhyāmi bandhūn prati tat nibodha

4. And I know you as the son of Suratha, whom people know as Koṭikāśya. Therefore, O Śaibya, I will similarly tell you about my kinsmen; understand that.
