महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-87, verse-10

स्त्रियो द्वितीयां जायन्ते तृतीयायां तु वन्दिनः ।
चतुर्थ्यां क्षुद्रपशवो भवन्ति बहवो गृहे ॥१०॥
10. striyo dvitīyāṁ jāyante tṛtīyāyāṁ tu vandinaḥ ,
caturthyāṁ kṣudrapaśavo bhavanti bahavo gṛhe.
