महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-149, verse-5

अकार्यमसकृत्कृत्वा दृश्यन्ते ह्यधना नराः ।
धनयुक्तास्त्वधर्मस्था दृश्यन्ते चापरे जनाः ॥५॥
5. akāryamasakṛtkṛtvā dṛśyante hyadhanā narāḥ ,
dhanayuktāstvadharmasthā dṛśyante cāpare janāḥ.

dhanayuktāḥ tu adharmasthāḥ dṛśyante ca apare janāḥ

5. Indeed, people who repeatedly commit improper acts are seen to be without wealth. However, other people, though wealthy, are seen to abide in unrighteousness (adharma).
