The mind (manas), which is of a manifested nature, absorbs sound (śabda), the quality (guṇa) of space (ākāśa). Then, from the mind, both the manifested (vyaktam) and the unmanifested (avyaktam) are absorbed. That (saḥ) is the cosmic dissolution (pratisañcara) pertaining to Brahman (brahman).
