yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ

न कारणं विनोदेति जलात्फेनलवो यथा ।
न कारणं विनोदेति सर्गादि ब्रह्मणस्तथा ॥ ४ ॥

na kāraṇaṃ vinodeti jalātphenalavo yathā ,
na kāraṇaṃ vinodeti sargādi brahmaṇastathā 4
na kāraṇaṃ vinodeti sargādi brahmaṇastathā 4

As the froth is not produced in the water, without some cause or other; so the creation never proceeds from the essence of Brahma, without its particular cause also.
