अस्वत्वाभावयोर्नित्येऽनन्तेऽत्यन्तमसंभवात् ।
स्वत्वभावेषु सिद्धेषु स्वभावोक्तिर्न तिष्ठति ॥ १६ ॥

Since both non-own-ness (asvatva) and non-existence (abhāva) are utterly impossible in the eternal, infinite [reality], the assertion of an intrinsic nature (svabhāva) does not hold true, even if own-ness (svatva) and existence (bhāva) were to be considered as established.
