बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-95, verse-9

कांस्याज्यवीक्षणं कृत्वा दीनानाथांश्च तर्पयेत् ।
एवं शान्त्या च मैत्रेय सर्वारिष्टं विलीयते ॥९॥
9. kāṃsyājyavīkṣaṇaṃ kṛtvā dīnānāthāṃśca tarpayet .
evaṃ śāntyā ca maitreya sarvāriṣṭaṃ vilīyate.

9. Having performed the ritual of observing ghee in a bronze vessel, one should also satisfy the poor and helpless. O Maitreya, in this way, through propitiation, all misfortunes vanish.
