मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-36, verse-8

तदास्मात् पुत्र निष्कृष्य मद्दत्तादङ्गुलीयकात् ।
वाच्यं ते शासनं पट्टे सूक्ष्माक्षरनिवेशितम् ॥८॥
8. tadāsmāt putra niṣkṛṣya maddattādaṅgulīyakāt .
vācyaṃ te śāsanaṃ paṭṭe sūkṣmākṣaraniveśitam.
8. tadā asmāt putra niṣkṛṣya mat-dattāt aṅgulīyakāt
vācyam te śāsanam paṭṭe sūkṣmākṣaraniveśitam
8. Then, my son, after taking it out from this ring (aṅgulīyaka) given by me, you should read the decree inscribed on the tablet with fine letters.
