महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-10, verse-6

उवाच चैनं भगवान्रुरुः संशमयन्निव ।
कामया भुजग ब्रूहि कोऽसीमां विक्रियां गतः ॥६॥
6. uvāca cainaṁ bhagavānruruḥ saṁśamayanniva ,
kāmayā bhujaga brūhi ko'sīmāṁ vikriyāṁ gataḥ.
6. uvāca ca enam bhagavān ruruḥ saṃśamayan iva
kāmayā bhujaga brūhi kaḥ asi imām vikriyām gataḥ
6. And the divine Ruru spoke to him, as if pacifying (him), saying: "O serpent, please tell me, who are you, having attained this transformed state?"
