अशौचान्तात् द्वितीयेऽह्नि श्राद्धं यत् कुरुते नरः ।
प्रेतश्राद्धं विजानीहि तदेव कुलनायिके ॥७४॥

74. O queen of the family (kulanāyike), know that śrāddha which a person performs on the second day after the end of the period of ritual impurity (aśauca) to be the pretaśrāddha.
