महानिर्वाण-तन्त्रम्       mahānirvāṇa-tantram - chapter-10, verse-52

पिण्डान्ते पिण्डशेषञ्च विकीर्य लेपभाजिनः ।
प्रीणयेत् करलेपेन नैकोद्दिष्टेष्वयं विधिः ॥५२॥
52. piṇḍānte piṇḍaśeṣañca vikīrya lepabhājinaḥ ,
prīṇayet karalepena naikoddiṣṭeṣvayaṁ vidhiḥ.

52. At the end of offering the rice balls, after scattering the remaining rice for those entitled to the scrapings, one should satisfy them with the residue remaining on the hand. This procedure does not apply to ekoddiṣṭa śrāddha rites.
