दुर्गा-सप्तशती       durgā-saptaśatī - chapter-4, verse-36

इत्येतत्कथितं भूप सम्भूता सा यथा पुरा ।
देवी देवशरीरेभ्यो जगत्त्रयहितैषिणी ॥३६॥
36. ityetatkathitaṃ bhūpa sambhūtā sā yathā purā .
devī devaśarīrebhyo jagattrayahitaiṣiṇī.

36. O King (bhūpa), thus this has been narrated: how the Goddess, desiring the welfare of the three worlds, formerly manifested from the bodies of the gods.
