दुर्गा-सप्तशती       durgā-saptaśatī - chapter-2, verse-58

केचिद् द्विधा कृतास्तीक्ष्णैः खड्गपातैस्तथापरे ।
विपोथिता निपातेन गदया भुवि शेरते ॥५८॥
58. kecid dvidhā kṛtāstīkṣṇaiḥ khaḍgapātaistathāpare .
vipothitā nipātena gadayā bhuvi śerate.

58. Some were cut into two by sharp sword-strokes, and others, crushed by a strike from the mace, lie on the earth (bhuvi).
