वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-3, verse-12

ते शरीरं विराधस्य भित्त्वा बर्हिणवाससः ।
निपेतुः शोणितादिग्धा धरण्यां पावकोपमाः ॥१२॥
12. te śarīraṃ virādhasya bhittvā barhiṇavāsasaḥ ,
nipetuḥ śoṇitādigdhā dharaṇyāṃ pāvakopamāḥ.
