बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-8, verse-5

उभयस्थास्तु सूर्याद्या पश्यन्युभयसंस्थितान् ।
निकटस्थं विना खेटाः पश्यन्तीत्ययमागमः ॥५॥
5. ubhayasthāstu sūryādyā paśyanyubhayasaṃsthitān .
nikaṭasthaṃ vinā kheṭāḥ paśyantītyayamāgamaḥ.
5. ubhayasthāḥ tu sūryādyāḥ paśyanti ubhayasaṃsthitān
nikaṭastham vinā kheṭāḥ paśyanti iti ayam āgamaḥ
5. But planets, beginning with the Sun (Sūrya), situated in dual signs indeed aspect those (planets) situated in dual signs. This is the traditional doctrine (āgama) that celestial bodies aspect, excluding the immediately adjacent position.
