मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
ततः स्वारोचिषं नाम्ना द्युतिमन्तं प्रजापतिम् ।
मनुं चकार भगवांस्तस्य मन्वन्तरं शृणु ॥१॥

tataḥ svārociṣaṃ nāmnā dyutimantaṃ prajāpatim .
