महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-217, verse-3

स भूत्वा भगवान्संख्ये रक्षंश्छागमुखस्तदा ।
वृतः कन्यागणैः सर्वैरात्मनीनैश्च पुत्रकैः ॥३॥
3. sa bhūtvā bhagavānsaṁkhye rakṣaṁśchāgamukhastadā ,
vṛtaḥ kanyāgaṇaiḥ sarvairātmanīnaiśca putrakaiḥ.
3. sa bhūtvā bhagavān saṅkhye rakṣan chāga-mukhaḥ tadā
vṛtaḥ kanyā-gaṇaiḥ sarvaiḥ ca ātmanīnaiḥ ca putrakaiḥ
3. Then, having become the divine lord in battle, that goat-faced one protected. He was surrounded by all the groups of maidens and by his own sons.
