महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-32, verse-16

अथ वा पुरुषः कर्ता कर्मणोः शुभपापयोः ।
न परं विद्यते तस्मादेवमन्यच्छुभं कुरु ॥१६॥

16. atha vā puruṣaḥ kartā karmaṇoḥ śubhapāpayoḥ ,
na paraṁ vidyate tasmādevamanyacchubhaṁ kuru.

16. atha vā puruṣaḥ śubhapāpayoḥ karmaṇoḥ kartā (bhavati),

16. Or else, man is the doer of both good and bad actions, and nothing else exists beyond that. Therefore, do other good deeds in this manner.
