महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-11, chapter-6, verse-12

एवं संसारचक्रस्य परिवृत्तिं स्म ये विदुः ।
ते वै संसारचक्रस्य पाशांश्छिन्दन्ति वै बुधाः ॥१२॥

12. evaṁ saṁsāracakrasya parivṛttiṁ sma ye viduḥ ,
te vai saṁsāracakrasya pāśāṁśchindanti vai budhāḥ.

12. Thus, those who truly understand the revolution of the cycle of transmigration (saṃsāra) are indeed the wise ones who cut the bonds of this cycle of saṃsāra.
