इत्युपस्थाप्य दहनं चादयेत् स्थण्डिलं कुशैः ।
स्वेष्टनाम्ना वह्निनाम कृत्वाऽभ्यर्चनमाचरेत् ॥१४४॥

144. (Having) thus established the fire, (he) should cover the altar with kuśa grass, and having performed the worship by using the name of his chosen deity along with the name of fire, (he) should conduct the ritual worship.
