शिलायां शस्यवापे च यथा नैवाङ्कुरो भवेत् ।
पञ्चतत्त्वविहीनायां पूजायां न फलोद्भवः ॥२४॥

24. Just as a sprout never grows when seeds are sown upon a rock, there is no fruit born from worship performed without the five elements (pañca-tattva).
