महानिर्वाण-तन्त्रम्       mahānirvāṇa-tantram - chapter-5, verse-15

बीजमाद्यत्रयं हित्वा सप्तार्णाऽपि दशाक्षरी ।
कामवाग्भवताराद्या सप्तार्णाऽष्टाक्षरी त्रिधा ॥१५॥
15. bījamādyatrayaṁ hitvā saptārṇā'pi daśākṣarī ,
kāmavāgbhavatārādyā saptārṇā'ṣṭākṣarī tridhā.
15. bījam ādya-trayam hitvā saptārṇaḥ api daśākṣarī
kāma-vāgbhava-tāra-ādyā saptārṇā aṣṭākṣarī tridhā
15. ādya-trayam bījam hitvā api saptārṇaḥ daśākṣarī
kāma-vāgbhava-tāra-ādyā saptārṇā aṣṭākṣarī tridhā
15. Leaving aside the first three seed mantras, the ten-syllabled one becomes seven-syllabled as well. Beginning with kāma, vāgbhava, and tāra, it is seven-syllabled and eight-syllabled in three ways.
