मूलमन्त्रेण हस्ताभ्यामापादमस्तकावधि ।
मस्तकात् पादपर्यन्तं सप्तधा वा त्रिधा न्यसेत् ।
अयन्तु व्यापकन्यासो यथोक्तफलसिद्धिदः ॥१२४॥

124. mūlamantreṇa hastābhyāmāpādamastakāvadhi ,
mastakāt pādaparyantaṁ saptadhā vā tridhā nyaset ,
ayantu vyāpakanyāso yathoktaphalasiddhidaḥ.

124. With the root mantra and both hands, one should place it from the feet up to the head, and from the head down to the feet, seven times or three times. This indeed is the universal projection (vyāpaka-nyāsa), which grants the attainment of the fruits as described.
