कुलार्णव-तन्त्रम्       kulārṇava-tantram - chapter-17, verse-44

शाकिनीगणपूज्यत्वात्तारणाद्भववारिधे ।
परादिशक्तिसान्निध्याच्चाक्त इत्यभिधीयते ॥४४॥
44. śākinīgaṇapūjyatvāttāraṇādbhavavāridhe ,
parādiśaktisānnidhyāccākta ityabhidhīyate.
44. śākinī-gaṇa-pūjyatvāt tāraṇāt bhava-vāridheḥ
para-ādi-śakti-sānnidhya-āt ca uktaḥ abhidhīyate
44. śākinī-gaṇa-pūjyatvāt,
bhava-vāridheḥ tāraṇāt,
para-ādi-śakti-sānnidhyāt ca,
uktaḥ abhidhīyate
44. Because of being worshipped by the groups of śākinīs, because of delivering from the ocean of worldly existence (saṃsāra), and also because of the presence of supreme and other powers, it is designated as akta.
