योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-58, verse-7

अन्तर्गुल्माङ्कुरादीनां प्राणिवाय्वम्बुतेजसाम् ।
सन्ति सर्गसहस्राणि कथयेति प्रदर्श्यते ॥ ७ ॥

santi sargasahasrāṇi kathayeti pradarśyate 7
7. antar gulmāṅkurādīnām prāṇivāyvambutejasām
santi sargasahasrāṇi kathayā iti pradarśyate
7. gulmāṅkurādīnām prāṇivāyvambutejasām antaḥ sargasahasrāṇi santi.

7. Within shrubs, sprouts, and similar entities, as well as within living beings, air, water, and fire, thousands of creations (sarga) exist. This is thus declared and revealed.
