योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-7, verse-4

द्वितीयस्त्वात्मनैवाशु किंचिद्व्युत्पन्नचेतसा ।
भवति ज्ञानसंप्राप्तिराकाशफलपातवत् ॥ ४ ॥
dvitīyastvātmanaivāśu kiṃcidvyutpannacetasā ,
bhavati jñānasaṃprāptirākāśaphalapātavat 4
4. dvitīyaḥ tu ātmanā eva āśu kiñcit vyutpanna-cetasā
| bhavati jñāna-samprāptiḥ ākāśa-phala-pātavat
4. dvitīyaḥ tu kiñcit vyutpanna-cetasā ātmanā eva
āśu jñāna-samprāptiḥ ākāśa-phala-pātavat bhavati
4. The second [path], however, enables the swift attainment of knowledge (jñāna) through one's intrinsic nature (ātman), for a mind that is somewhat discerning, much like the sudden falling of a fruit from the sky.
