यदेतद्ब्रह्मतत्त्वं सर्वथा सर्वदैव सर्वत एव सर्वशक्ति सर्वाकारं सर्वेश्वरं सर्वगं सर्वमेवेति ॥ १ ॥

Śrī Vasiṣṭha said: This essential reality (tattva) of the Absolute (brahma) is, in every respect, always, and everywhere, all-powerful (sarvaśakti), all-formed, the supreme controller (sarveśvara), all-pervading, and truly everything.
