ततः स किंकरान् हत्वा हनूमान्ध्यानमास्थितः ।
वनं भग्नं मया चैत्यप्रासादो न विनाशितः ।
तस्मात् प्रासादमप्येवमिमं विध्वंसयाम्यहम् ॥१॥

1. tataḥ sa kiṃkarān hatvā hanūmāndhyānamāsthitaḥ ,
vanaṃ bhagnaṃ mayā caityaprāsādo na vināśitaḥ ,
tasmāt prāsādamapyevamimaṃ vidhvaṃsayāmyaham.

Then, Hanumān, having killed the servants, became thoughtful: "The grove has been broken by me, but the shrine-palace has not been destroyed. Therefore, I will also destroy this very palace in this manner."
