महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-25, verse-10

सहयज्ञाः प्रजाः सृष्ट्वा पुरोवाच प्रजापतिः ।
अनेन प्रसविष्यध्वमेष वोऽस्त्विष्टकामधुक् ॥१०॥
10. sahayajñāḥ prajāḥ sṛṣṭvā purovāca prajāpatiḥ ,
anena prasaviṣyadhvameṣa vo'stviṣṭakāmadhuk.

10. Having created beings together with Vedic rituals (yajñas) in ancient times, Prajāpati said: "By means of this (Vedic ritual), you shall propagate and flourish; may this (Vedic ritual) be your wish-fulfilling cow."
