महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-25, verse-5

ब्राह्मणं स्वयमाहूय भिक्षार्थे कृशवृत्तिनम् ।
ब्रूयान्नास्तीति यः पश्चात्तं विद्याद्ब्रह्मघातिनम् ॥५॥
5. brāhmaṇaṁ svayamāhūya bhikṣārthe kṛśavṛttinam ,
brūyānnāstīti yaḥ paścāttaṁ vidyādbrahmaghātinam.

5. Whoever, after personally inviting a brahmin with a meager livelihood for alms, later says 'there is nothing,' one should consider him a brahmin killer (brahmaghātin).
