महानिर्वाण-तन्त्रम्       mahānirvāṇa-tantram - chapter-6, verse-115

इत्थं निवेद्य च पशुं भूमिसंस्थन्तु कारयेत् ।
देवीभावपरो भूत्वा हन्यात्तीव्रप्रहारतः ॥११५॥
115. itthaṁ nivedya ca paśuṁ bhūmisaṁsthantu kārayet ,
devībhāvaparo bhūtvā hanyāttīvraprahārataḥ.

devībhāvaparaḥ bhūtvā hanyāt tīvrapraharataḥ
115. ca itthaṃ nivedya paśum bhūmisaṃstham tu kārayet,
devībhāvaparaḥ bhūtvā tīvrapraharataḥ hanyāt
115. Having thus presented the animal, he should cause it to be placed on the ground. Becoming absorbed in the feeling of being the goddess, he should strike it with a fierce blow.
