कुलार्णव-तन्त्रम्       kulārṇava-tantram - chapter-17, verse-51

दिव्यभावप्रदानाच्च क्षालनात् कल्मषस्य च ।
दीक्षेति कथिता सद्भिर्भवबन्धविमोचनात् ॥५१॥
51. divyabhāvapradānācca kṣālanāt kalmaṣasya ca ,
dīkṣeti kathitā sadbhirbhavabandhavimocanāt.

51. sadbhiḥ divyabhāvapradānāt ca kalmaṣasya kṣālanāt
bhavabandhavimocanāt ca dīkṣā iti kathitā
51. O goddess, because it bestows a divine state, because of the washing away of impurities, and because of releasing one from the bonds of worldly existence (saṃsāra), it is declared by the wise to be dīkṣā (initiation).
