रसेन्द्रेण यथा विद्धमयः सुवर्णतां व्रजेत् ।
दीक्षाविद्धस्तथा ह्यात्मा शिवत्वं लभते प्रिये ॥८९॥

dīkṣāviddhastathā hyātmā śivatvaṁ labhate priye.

89. O beloved one, just as iron pierced by mercury attains the state of gold, so too does the self, pierced by initiation, attain the state of Shiva.
