अध्वानं षड्विधं ज्ञात्वा शिष्यदेहे स्मरन् प्रिये ॥५७॥

57. O beloved, mental initiation (mano-dīkṣā) is declared to be of two types: intense (tīvrā) and more intense (tīvratarā). The guru, knowing the sixfold path (adhvan) and contemplating it within the disciple's body (should initiate).
