कुलार्णव-तन्त्रम्       kulārṇava-tantram - chapter-14, verse-55

निमील्य नयने ध्यात्वा परतत्त्वप्रसन्नधीः ।
सम्यक् पश्येद्गुरुः शिष्यं दृग्दीक्षा च भवेत् प्रिये ॥५५॥
55. nimīlya nayane dhyātvā paratattvaprasannadhīḥ ,
samyak paśyedguruḥ śiṣyaṁ dṛgdīkṣā ca bhavet priye.

samyak paśyet guruḥ śiṣyam dṛgdīkṣā ca bhavet priye
55. priye,
paratatttvaprasannadhīḥ guruḥ nayane nimīlya dhyātvā,
śiṣyam samyak paśyet.
sā ca dṛgdīkṣā bhavet.
55. O beloved, when the guru, with an intellect pleased by the supreme reality, closes (his) eyes and meditates, and then properly looks at the disciple, this becomes the sight initiation (dṛg-dīkṣā).
