योगवासिष्ठः yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-167, verse-31

किंतु नास्त्येष बाह्योऽर्थो भूतानामत्यसंभवात् ।
पञ्चानामादिसर्गादौ कारणानामभावतः ॥ ३१ ॥

kiṃtu nāstyeṣa bāhyo'rtho bhūtānāmatyasaṃbhavāt ,
pañcānāmādisargādau kāraṇānāmabhāvataḥ 31

31. But there is no outward object at all, owing to the absence of material elements; and the want of the five principles of matter, before and at the time of first creation.
