अभित्तावुत्थिते चित्रे दृश्यते भित्तिरातता ।
अहो विचित्रा मायेयं मग्नं तुम्बं शिला प्लुता ॥ २ ॥

abhittāvutthite citre dṛśyate bhittirātatā ,
aho vicitrā māyeyaṃ magnaṃ tumbaṃ śilā plutā 2

aho vicitrā māyā iyam magnam tumbam śilā plutā

2. When the image (citra) appears without a wall (bhitti), the wall itself is seen to be spread out. Oh, how wonderful is this illusion (māyā)! A gourd sinks, while a rock floats.
