एतस्मिन्नन्तरे राजमहिषी मत्तयौवना ।
तद्विवेश गृहं लक्ष्मीरिव पङ्कजकोटरम् ॥ १ ॥

Śrī Vasiṣṭha said: In the meantime, the queen, in the prime of her youth, entered that house, just as Lakṣmī (lakṣmī) enters the calyx of a lotus.
