एवं सलग्नखेटानां विधायाष्टकवर्गकम् ।
त्रिकोणशोधनं कुर्यादादौ सर्वंषु राशिषु ॥१॥

1. evaṃ salagnakheṭānāṃ vidhāyāṣṭakavargakam .
trikoṇaśodhanaṃ kuryādādau sarvaṃṣu rāśiṣu.

1. evam salagnakheṭānām vidhāya aṣṭakavargakam
trikoṇaśodhanam kuryāt ādau sarveṣu rāśiṣu

1. Thus, having prepared the Aṣṭakavarga chart for the planets along with the ascendant, one should first perform the Trikona Shodhana (rectification of triangles) in all the zodiacal signs.
