महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-341, verse-6

ततः स धर्मं वेदोक्तं यथाशास्त्रोक्तमेव च ।
शिष्टाचीर्णं च धर्मं च त्रिविधं चिन्त्य चेतसा ॥६॥
6. tataḥ sa dharmaṁ vedoktaṁ yathāśāstroktameva ca ,
śiṣṭācīrṇaṁ ca dharmaṁ ca trividhaṁ cintya cetasā.

śiṣṭa-ācīrṇam ca dharmam ca tri-vidham cintya cetasā
6. Then, having pondered with his mind upon the threefold natural law (dharma) — that which is declared in the Vedas, that which is stated in the scriptures, and that which is practiced by the virtuous —
