उच्चैःपदाय परया प्रज्ञया वासनागणात् ।
पुष्पाद्गन्धमिवोदारं चेतो राम पृथक्कुरु ॥ २१ ॥

uccaiḥpadāya parayā prajñayā vāsanāgaṇāt ,
puṣpādgandhamivodāraṃ ceto rāma pṛthakkuru 21

gandham iva udāram cetaḥ rāma pṛthak kuru ||

21. O Rāma, with supreme wisdom, separate your consciousness (cetaḥ) from the multitude of latent impressions (vāsanās), just as fine fragrance is drawn from a flower, for the attainment of a lofty state.
