योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-56, verse-31

यथा वासनया जन्तोर्विषमप्यमृतायते ।
असत्यः सत्यतामेति पदार्थो भावनात्तथा ॥ ३१ ॥
yathā vāsanayā jantorviṣamapyamṛtāyate ,
asatyaḥ satyatāmeti padārtho bhāvanāttathā 31
31. yathā vāsanayā jantoḥ viṣam api amṛtāyate |
asatyaḥ satyatām eti padārthaḥ bhāvanāt tathā ||
31. yathā vāsanayā jantoḥ viṣam api amṛtāyate
tathā asatyaḥ padārthaḥ bhāvanāt satyatām eti
31. Just as, due to a living being's mental impression (vāsanā), even poison can transform into nectar, similarly, an unreal object attains reality through conception (bhāvanā).
