वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-34, verse-33

ताश्चापि स तथैवार्ता मातॄर्दशरथात्मजः ।
धर्मयुक्तमिदं वाक्यं निजगाद कृताञ्जलिः ॥३३॥
33. tāścāpi sa tathaivārtā mātṝrdaśarathātmajaḥ ,
dharmayuktamidaṃ vākyaṃ nijagāda kṛtāñjaliḥ.
33. tāḥ ca api saḥ tathā eva ārtāḥ mātṝḥ daśarathātmajaḥ
dharmayuktam idam vākyam nijagāda kṛtāñjaliḥ
33. saḥ daśarathātmajaḥ kṛtāñjaliḥ tathā eva ārtāḥ
tāḥ mātṝḥ ca api idam dharmayuktam vākyam nijagāda
33. And to those mothers, who were distressed in the same way, the son of Daśaratha, with joined hands, spoke these words consistent with natural law (dharma).
