बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-85, verse-4

प्रसवस्य त्रिकारेऽपि ज्ञेयं जन्माऽशुभप्रदम् ।
शान्त्या भवति कल्याणं तदुपायं च वच्म्यहम् ॥४॥
4. prasavasya trikāre'pi jñeyaṃ janmā'śubhapradam .
śāntyā bhavati kalyāṇaṃ tadupāyaṃ ca vacmyaham.

śāntyā bhavati kalyāṇaṃ tat upāyaṃ ca vacmi aham
4. Even when a birth occurs under any of the three types of adverse circumstances (trikāra), it is considered inauspicious. However, through propitiatory rituals (śānti), auspiciousness and well-being (kalyāṇa) can be achieved. I shall now explain the methods for these remedies.
